Finance & Administration
Finance and Administration is responsible for all administrative functions of the City and includes elected and appointed officers responsible for policy-making and administration of City affairs.
The City Administrator is responsible for carrying out the policies established by the City Council. Some responsibilities include; preparation and submission of the annual budget, insure the enforcement of City ordinances and be generally responsible for providing overall direction, supervision and coordination to City operations and functions.
The City Recorder's Office provides for the planning, accounting and control of fiscal matters in the City and administers the City's human resource programs. The Recorder's Office also serves as the finance department and is responsible for issuance of licenses, record keeping, utility payments , performing financial transactions, building permits and inspections and numerous administrative functions required by statute.
